I’m a qualified and experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor. I trained at WPF Therapy, one of the UK’s leading academic and clinical institutions for psychotherapy. I worked for several years within the NHS at the City and Hackney Specialist Psychotherapy Service, and currently work within the student counselling service at Queen Mary University. I teach on the WPF diploma course in psychodynamic theory and practice. I’m a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to this association’s professional code of ethics.
I have experience of working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures and across all age groups. It’s my belief that many issues stem from difficulties in relating, and for this reason I see relationships as central to my work.
I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space in which you can begin to understand your experiences, modify old patterns and identify new possibilities.
I practise in Hackney. During the coronavirus outbreak, I am also offering phone/Zoom sessions.
