I’m an accredited and experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor. I trained at WPF Therapy, one of the UK’s leading academic and clinical institutions for psychotherapy. I worked for several years within the NHS at the City and Hackney Specialist Psychotherapy Service, and currently work within the student counselling service at Queen Mary University. I’ve taught on the WPF clinical qualification course, and currently teach their foundation certificate. I’m a member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and FPC (Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling) and adhere to these associations’ professional codes of ethics.
I have experience of working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures and across all age groups. It’s my belief that many issues stem from difficulties in relating, and for this reason I see relationships as central to my work.
I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space in which you can begin to understand your experiences, modify old patterns and identify new possibilities.
I practise in Hackney. During the coronavirus outbreak, I am offering phone/Zoom sessions.
