I’m an accredited and experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor. I trained at WPF Therapy, one of the UK’s leading academic and clinical institutions for psychotherapy. I worked in the NHS City and Hackney Specialist Psychotherapy Service for several years, and currently work in the student counselling service at Queen Mary University. I have taught on the WPF Clinical Qualification course and Foundation Certificate; and currently lecture and teach at the Faber Academy. I’m a member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and FPC (Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling) and adhere to these associations’ professional codes of ethics.
I have experience of working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures and across all age groups. It’s my belief that many issues stem from difficulties in relating, and for this reason I see relationships as central to my work.
I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space in which you can begin to understand your experiences, modify old patterns and identify new possibilities.
I practice in Hackney. I primarily work in-person, but can also offer Zoom or phone sessions.
